Build and edit a catalog

The catalog is the foundation of your semantic layer—it stores all your views and datasets. Click Create new catalog in the sidebar in the workspace UI. Here it will prompt you to name your catalog, add team members and import database connections.
Once the catalog has been created, it can be edited by selecting Edit catalog from the catalog home page. This will take you to an IDE where you can build views and add them to datasets within the catalog. You can also see the latest state of the catalog, make any necessary changes and commit them to update the catalog.
