3. Sharing your report

Canvases can be shared as a whole, or just as specific report frames. This is great when you need to expose a more restricted view, especially when sharing with many people. When a user views a report, they can edit filters and add comments, but have no access to the full canvas.

Reports can be locked, which means that if one user changes a filter, that change only affects them locally, and the change doesn't propagate to anyone else that's viewing the same report.

It is possible to share a link to a specific filtered view making use of View links. This is helpful in cases when your report is locked, and so changes to control cells are not saved.

It's likely when you're sharing a report, you don't want the cell connectors to be visible. Simply select the frame you want to hide the cell connectors for, and in the Design bar select the Hide cell connectors option.
When it comes to report permissions, you have a huge amount of flexibility. You can decide to share a report at an individual user level, at a project level, or workspace level.
For a report, it's likely you'll want to make use of project or workspace level access. If you have a company wide report, then one approach is to place this report in a "company report" project, and in the project permissions set the workspace role to Report viewer.

In addition to all workspace members having Report viewer access, it's likely you'll want a number of users to have a higher access level. You can set this at an individual user level either across the whole project, or at a canvas level.
